Business Library

The Business Library, situated on the second floor of the Norfolk & Norwich Millennium Library, offers a full reference and lending service for individuals or organisations.

We are happy to offer one to one or group appointments in order to give you a general introduction to our services or to assist you with specific enquiries.

As part of our commitment to providing quality, up to date information, the Business Library has invested in a wide range of electronic information sources, which are often prohibitively expensive for small and medium sized companies. We can help you:

• Target customers in specific business sectors

• Research a product or service

• Source a product

• Perform statistical analysis on your business sector

• Research grants available to you

• Run financial status reports and credit checks on potential partners, customers and suppliers

The Library is equipped to enable you to conduct your own research and offers PCs with office software, free access to the internet and study spaces as well as:

• Trade and company directories listing local, national and international businesses

• Market Research reports

• Current and back copies of over 50 business periodicals

• The electronic databases and business information products, including access to full text British Standards

• Information on company and business law including health & safety at work

• A comprehensive collection of business books available for reference and loan

In addition, in partnership with ip21 – Intellectual Property specialists – we are able to arrange free, confidential initial consultations on the feasibility and stages involved in turning your product idea into a viable business. Simply call us to book an appointment.
