Depwade Register Office is situated on two floors of a historic 18th century building in the heart of the picturesque market town of Diss. The beamed ceremony room is on the first floor and seats up to 34 guests. The décor is cream with matching full-length drapes adorning the picture windows. Norfolk prints on the walls and fresh flower arrangements complete the tranquil ambience of this cosy but friendly room. Music can be provided on request.

East Dereham (or as it is known now) Dereham is a bustling market town, set in the idyllic landscape of central Norfolk. In recent years Dereham has thrived and can boast amenities and attractions, which appeal to both resident and visitor alike. The surrounding area is that of open unspoilt countryside and picturesque villages.

The Register Office has recently moved to a new location close to the centre of town. Free parking facilities are available. The outstanding feature of these ground floor premises is the ceremony room. Decorated in a modern style, in shades of turquoise, lilac and purple, there is seating for 40 people. The ceremony room overlooks the Queen Mother's Garden, which is the ideal setting for photographs.

Dereham is a very popular venue for ceremonies. Couples are welcome to enhance their ceremony by the inclusion of music and readings. Staff will be pleased to discuss your ideas and help plan your special day.

In addition to the Register Office, East Dereham district offers a variety of approved venues for civil ceremonies. These range from a town centre hotel to places set in their own unique country setting.

The ceremony room is tastefully decorated with soft green walls, deep pink carpet and cream floral drapes, with seating for 26 guests. All offices are on the ground floor with disabled facilities and the overall cheerful décor creates a welcoming atmosphere. The event can be personalised by a choice of ceremony and music. Parking is available with public car parks nearby.

Great Yarmouth Register Office

Quietly situated away from the main road, "Ferryside" is an established Victorian house steeped in local history. The ceremony room is approached via a large hall that is dominated by a beautiful carved wooden staircase. The hall has a warm wintry ambience that proves to be very popular with visitors and the staircase lends itself to being a photographic backdrop.

The ceremony room encompasses features characteristic of the Victorian period and is centred on a magnificent original fireplace that adds the perfect touch to photographs depicting the signing of the register. Decorated in warm pink shades of wallpaper and contrasting red carpet, it seats 40 people and will take a maximum of 50 guests, some standing.

The house is situated on a large plot of land that incorporates manicured lawns and neatly kept rose beds and trees. This provides a perfect backdrop to those all-important photographs. There is sufficient parking for approximately 20 vehicles

King’s Lynn Register Office

The Register Office is situated between the river bank of the Great Ouse and St. Margaret's Church. The building is of considerable architectural and historic interest and forms a picturesque feature of the street scenery of Old Lynn.

The main ceremony room is in a building dating from the fifteenth century. It is a hall with an open timbered room. There is seating for 40 guests, and the décor is a warm pale neutral colour with silk flower arrangements. The ceremony room has views to the river and the paved courtyard, which is ideal for photographs. Suitable music is available, and there is ample car parking on Saturdays. There are also plenty of public car parks within easy walking distance for use during the week.

Our second ceremony room, situated on the ground floor, is decorated in the Regency style and has magnificent views of the well known and imposing St Margaret's Church to the front and historic streets of King's Lynn to the side. It will accommodate 25 people comfortably and is a room with much character. It allows full access for people with disabilities and has proved a very popular alternative with participants who find the stairs to our other ceremony room difficult.

The Norwich register office is located in Churchman House, a magnificent Grade II listed building. The ceremony room is decorated in rose pink and plum and has room for sixty guests. French windows lead from the room into a pleasant garden, which is available for photographs. Music is provided at ceremonies. There is some car parking and other car parks are situated nearby. There are facilities for disabled visitors.

Thetford Register Office

The King's House is a large Grade II listed building in Thetford. It is a former royal residence of King James, in the ancient borough of Thetford, in the heart of the Brecks, an area of outstanding interest and beauty, offering both ancient and modern historical sites to visit.

The register office is situated on the ground floor of this delightfully restored building. The ceremony room can comfortably accommodate 42 guests, plus the happy couple! The colour scheme is dusky pink and dark blue with reproduction furniture in a style to complement both the room and the building. We provide music and fresh flowers for all our ceremonies. There is easy access and facilities for disabled people are provided. The large gardens have a mixture of lawns, formal and herbaceous borders and a rose garden, and these are open for photographs. Parking is provided at the front of King's House, also in free car parks close to the office.
