Key findings for Norfolk from the recently published English Indices of Deprivation (ID) 2007 Headline analysis – What does the recently published ID 2007 tell us about Norfolk?
For a more detailed look see below. A brief overview – In December 2007, Communities and Local Government (CLG) published The English Indices of Deprivation 2007, the Government’s update of the Indices of Deprivation 2004. The methodology underpinning the two pieces of work is largely the same although there have been changes to certain of the underlying indicators. The new Index of Multiple Deprivation 2007 combines a number of indicators into a single deprivation score at small area level, and there are separate domain scores, various supplementary indices and local authority summary scores, as with the previous report. Together these indices make up the Indices of Deprivation 2007 (ID 2007). For further information view DIN 1/08 below.
