Norfolk Social Infrastructure Fund
Set up in 2020 for an initial three years, the Social Infrastructure Fund awarded capital grants of up to £250,000 for groups involved in community projects and initiatives that benefit the residents of Norfolk.
As part of our commitment to voluntary and community groups, the grant aimed to strengthen local communities by providing support for local buildings and facilities. The grant also supported the outcomes of our Better Together, for Norfolk plan.
£775k of funding was available in 2022 - with £225,000 set aside for smaller projects of between £5,000 and £50,000, and the other £550,000 for larger projects between £50,000 and £250,000.
In November 2022 we fast-tracked five projects for funding. We then went on to award grants to 10 more great projects in February 2023. Read more about these projects in our news stories:

We will share updates on the impact of these projects over the year.
If you are a voluntary or community organisation and currently looking for funding, some good places to start include the Empowering Communities Grant Noticeboard, the Grants for Norfolk service and the Norfolk Community Foundation.
