Here's a run down of what it will cost to have registrars officiate at your marriage or civil partnership ceremony in Norfolk.
Notice of marriage and civil partnership
For most people the fee will be £35 per person. For some non-EEA nationals who are subject to immigration control the fee is £47 per person.
If you live out of county we'll phone you to take your outstanding fee when we've received confirmation that you've given notice at your local registration office.
There's an additional statutory fee of £50 or £75 across England and Wales for the consideration of divorces, civil partnership dissolutions and nullities obtained outside of the British Isles.
Approved venues (including outdoor ceremonies)
As well as our attendance fees, approved venues will have their own fees which you'll need to factor into your budget.

Registration offices ceremony suites
Costs are for the ceremony suites at Diss, Great Yarmouth Library, King's Lynn and North Walsham. Prices include a non-refundable reservation fee of £200. The fee includes the room hire and the registrars conducting the ceremony.

- Supper Room at Gt Yarmouth Town Hall
- Assembly Room at Downham Market Town Hall
We don't offer discounts for morning ceremonies at these locations. Prices include a non-refundable reservation fee of £200. The fee includes the room hire and the registrars conducting the ceremony.

Any Place Duo celebration
These costs cover the legal ceremony with the couple and two witnesses and a celebration ceremony at a venue of your choice. It also includes the premises inspection fee. Small ceremonies in working offices
There is a fee of £46 for a small ceremony in a working office in Great Yarmouth, King's Lynn and Norwich.
Evening ceremonies
There's an additional fee of £50 for ceremonies held after 5pm.
Marriage certificates
Marriage certificates cost £11 each.
Once we have entered your marriage into the electronic register, we will produce and post your certificate to you within seven days of the schedule/document being returned to our office. You will no longer receive a marriage certificate at the ceremony. All certificates will be produced electronically and are no longer handwritten.
