Public Health grants for sexual health

One of the many Public Health Norfolk aims is to provide an open access and confidential sexual health (SH) service to all our residents in Norfolk, delivering interventions, improving outcomes and reducing inequalities.

As of April 2017 a Grant funding process will be in operation supporting the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector who provide frontline open access services to our targeted communities.

Aim of the fund

  • To provide SH outreach and community services which are not already provided by any other service to Norfolk residents
  • To deliver innovative services which support our Public Health statutory SH requirements and services in line with the Norfolk SH improvement framework. Using both Local and National data to benchmark and recognise where there are areas of need for vulnerable groups to improve SH outcomes
  • This funding is not to duplicate existing services but to fill gaps of unmet need in the community which will strengthen and complement our already existing services

How much is available?

Up to £150,000pa made up of smaller bids up to £50,000pa. We will consider partnership working as long as the partnership is led by the third sector and the same provider can apply for several bids ensuring these are different services.
