Norfolk Care Awards 2017

The 2017 Norfolk Care Awards ceremony was held on Thursday 23rd February. Despite the best efforts of Storm Doris which knocked out the electricity at Sprowston Manor Hotel, a fantastic celebration of social care in Norfolk took place. The generator powered ceremony was hosted by actor and impressionist Debra Stephenson who entertained the packed marquee with impersonations of a range of celebrities who were 'unable to attend' the event themselves. The most poignant and moving moment of the evening came at the end when the ‘Outstanding contribution’ award was won by Harold Bodmer. In fact in future years this category will be renamed the Harold Bodmer Outstanding Contribution Award.
