Care and support in prisons

We provide care and support services in prison where an individual has been assessed to have eligible social care needs. We work closely with prison officers and healthcare staff at the prison to do this.

There are three prisons in Norfolk – Bure, Wayland and Norwich prison.

We also support people living in approved premises once they have been released from prison.

If you have a friend or family member in a Norfolk prison who you think has social care needs you can discuss this with the prison. Any referral for an assessment will come to us from the prison.
