Getting to your vaccination

Finding transport and where to get help if you have difficulty attending your appointment.

Find transport

Use the Find your Transport tool to see which transport services operate in your area and how to access them.

Access timetables and information about bus operators in your area.

Our community transport service helps eligible adults get to essential health, social and wellbeing services.

You can also search the directory for community transport options.

If you live in the Waveney area, find community transport information on the Connecting Communities website.

Jab cab service

People across Norfolk and Waveney can use a free Jab Cab service, which covers a return trip from home to visit a vaccination site and receive a COVID-19 jab.

Visit the Norfolk and Waveney CCG website to view a list of participating taxi companies. Then choose your local firm and call them to book your free vaccination journey.

Get help with travel

If you’ve been invited for a booster vaccination by your GP surgery then please let them know if you have any difficulties getting to your appointment at the point of booking.

Support for carers

Caring Together are offering support to carers in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk, who have challenges attending their coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine.
