Alcohol and drug behaviour change service
Norfolk County Council Public Health has awarded a contract for a new integrated alcohol and drug behaviour change service. The new provider, Change, Grow, Live (CGL), will provide treatment, recovery and building community resilience for Norfolk adults aged over 18 who are affected by substance misuse.
The new service will aim to start in April 2018 and will demonstrate innovation and implement evidence based good practice to deliver the best possible outcomes for individuals and their families. There will be a sharp focus on reducing harm caused to children. The redesign will support our priorities to ‘protect and support vulnerable people’ and to ‘help Norfolk to be prosperous by helping people back into employment.’
The Council’s Communities Committee has agreed for the current services to deliver up to the end of March next year. Current services will not be affected during the tender and will deliver business as usual.
