The Joy of Food
If you want to boost your confidence in the kitchen and produce day-to-day, cheap and healthy home cooked meals from scratch, sign up to free classes from The Joy of Food. They are available to anyone from teenagers through to pensioners, regardless of ability.
During the course, you’ll learn basic cookery skills including food preparation, different cooking methods and simple nutritional advice in small groups. All food and equipment is provided and you’ll even get a free recipe book to take home at the end.
Classes are led by a team of volunteers in locations throughout Norfolk and generally run over four or five weekly sessions.
