Swallowtail Place, Acle

This scheme is a 58-apartment independent living scheme situated on Bridewell Lane in Acle, near the Library, Medical Partnership and the Methodist Church - see the map below. It is made up of 41 affordable rent apartments and 17 shared ownership apartments, with one and two bedroom flats available.

The scheme is open now and taking applications.

If you are interested in renting an apartment at the scheme, the first things you need to do are:

Email housing.advice@southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk or call the team on 0808 168 2222 and request a copy of the Housing with Care application form. When the team at South Norfolk and Broadland have received your completed form, they will then make sure you are on the right housing list so that your application can progress.
Call Norfolk Adult Social Services on 0344 800 8020 to request an assessment of your care and support needs for Independent Living and Housing with Care. The team will allocate you a social care professional to support you in this process and complete the assessment.
Contact Saffron Housing on 01508 532000 to let them know you are applying; ask any questions you may have and to arrange a visit. There will be set times to visit the scheme so please phone ahead and do not just turn up.
