Funding for supported housing developers

Norfolk has a clear vision for supported living. We want attractive housing for adults with care and support needs. We want to give people choice and the opportunity to live independently in the community.

Our analysis shows we need around 300 units of supported living housing in the next five years. We have set up an £18m capital programme to support new developments

Registered providers of supported living housing can apply for capital funding from Norfolk County Council.

The fund will go towards development costs of affordable rented units. This will include schemes with mixed tenure. When we contribute towards affordable units, we will keep nomination rights for them.

You can download our specialist housing position statement (PDF) [1MB]. This outlines our demands and best practice requirements for supported living.
