Completing time sheets and invoices

If you're working as a PA, you’ll need to either complete time sheets or invoices to ensure you’re properly paid.

Using time sheets

Time sheets are records of the hours that you, as an employee, have worked within a specified period.   

We’ve provided a couple of sample time sheets to show you how to fill it in with your employment hours:

  • If you're providing care for an adult, download this time sheet as a Word document or a PDF
  • If you're providing care for a child, download this time sheet as a Word document or a PDF

Once you’ve completed and signed your time sheet, you need to pass it to your employer to sign.

If they’re using our payroll service, they can then forward it to our payroll team in one of two ways:  

  • Take a photo or scan the sheet and email it to dpsspayroll@norfolk.gov.uk
  • Send it by post to Direct Payment Payroll, County Hall Annex, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DW

Using invoices

If you’re a self-employed PA, you need to complete and submit an invoice so the hours you’ve worked can be paid.

We’ve provided a sample invoice to show you how to complete it. You can download it as a Word document or a PDF.

You’ll then need to submit your invoice to your employer.

If they’re using our payroll service, they’ll pass it on to the Direct Payments Client Services Team.

This can be done by:

  • Emailing the invoice to dpinv@norfolk.gov.uk 
  • Sending it by post to Direct Payment Client Services Team, County Hall Annex, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DW
