Money and expenses
All foster carers get financial support. You will get:
- Allowances to help cover the cost of caring for a child or young person
- Fees to recognise the time, skills and experience you contribute as a foster carer
You can also claim expenses for things like school trips and childcare.
You'll be responsible for helping the child or young person to manage their own money.
