Health services

Health services and support are available at every Children’s Centre, including child health clinics, baby weigh-in sessions and health visitor checkups.

You can find out more about baby self-weigh sessions in Children's Centres and libraries in this booklet. As things do change from time to time, always check with your chosen location before travelling.

These sessions do not however replace the need to seek advice and support if you are worried and parents/carers should continue to contact 0300 300 0123 during the following hours:

8am–6pm Monday to Friday
9am–1pm Saturday

You can attend sessions and get advice on:

  • Breastfeeding and weaning support
  • Healthy eating and exercise
  • Speech and language support

You can find out more information about health and wellbeing services for children in Norfolk and at Just One Norfolk the new health website for families in Norfolk.
