Stay and Play sessions

Stay and Play activities support your child’s learning and offer a lovely way to spend an hour or two with your child and other families. The activities are generally free or low-cost and are run by trained, enthusiastic professionals and are a great way for your child to play, learn and have fun. They also help you to understand how your child develops.

The activities offered at each Children’s Centre vary and may include:

  • Cooking
  • Dancing
  • Music
  • Craft
  • Messy play
  • Ideas for activities to do at home
  • Baby yoga
  • Baby massage
  • Singing
  • Story and rhyme time
  • Support for transition to school

Contact your local Children’s Centre for further information or use the Norfolk Community Directory to find stay and play sessions at your local Children’s Centre
