What is Feel the Force Day?

Feel the Force Day events are film and TV conventions with a difference. We design our events around disabled people and make them as accessible as possible. We understand access does not just mean a disabled loo and a ramp, it’s about attitude, contact, price and all the subtle adaptations that make life easier.

Who can come to Feel the Force Day?

Everyone is welcome at our events. We are all about building an inclusive world through common interests, specifically film and TV. Our events are designed for people with disabilities and as long as you’re OK with that, we’re OK with you.

Who needs to buy a ticket?

We believe part of making events accessible is making them easy to go to, so: You need to buy a ticket for yourself and anyone in your group except for your care and support. They come in for free. You don’t need to apply for a ticket for them, you can just bring them along and we don’t need to check any documents to make sure you really need them.

If you need more than one person to support you at a time, no problem, just bring as many people as you need. We rely upon you being honest about the support you need, as the more people who come in for free, the less money we have to run the next event.

Special guests include actors from:

  • Red Dwarf
  • East Enders
  • Dr Who
  • Star Wars
  • Harry Potter and many more…

Things to see:

  • Iron Throne
  • Movie Princess
  • Star Wars characters and much more…

Time: 11am to 6pm

Venue: KingsGate Conference Centre, 2 Staplee Way, Peterborough, PE1 4YT.

Cost: £4 for general admission to Feel the Force Day. You don't need to buy a ticket for your active carers.

For more information and to book please visit the Feel the Force Day website.
