Community paediatrics
Community paediatricians will see children and young people within hospital clinics and special educational needs schools.
They will review children with:
- Developmental and neuro-developmental problems, including autism and ADHD
- Behavioural concerns
- Long-term disabilities
They work closely with community nurses, continence teams, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and physiotherapists. They can refer a child or young person to these services if needed.
