Support at work

There is lots of support available to help you in work:

  • A job coach gives advice to you and your employer, on how to get the most from you
  • Access to work is help from the government (the people in charge of running the country) to do your job. Download an easy read guide on access to work (pdf)
  • Specialist employability support is help to get a job and support for six months once you are in work. In Norfolk this service is provided by Jobcentre Plus
  • Your right to reasonable adjustments. Employers (the person you are working for) must make reasonable adjustments (changing the way they normally do things) so that people with a disability can work there like anybody else
