Adult learning course suspension

As a result of the measures announced by the government relating to coronavirus and social distancing, we have made the decision to suspend all bookings for adult learning with immediate effect. Anyone booked onto a course will be contacted with FAQs about what happens with any future booking they may have made.

We know that this is a worrying time for everyone, and over the next we are working hard to introduce a range of online learning opportunities, supporting those self-isolating to access our mental health and well being programmes, preventing loneliness and isolation and offering creative opportunities as well as learning opportunities for children and families.

In addition to this, all of our vocational skills courses (health and social care, access, childcare, teaching assistants, accountancy etc) will soon be back up and running online and using distance learning methods.

We are currently equipping all of our staff with the technology they need to support this activity.

For Norfolk residents with limited access to the internet, we will produce a range of distance learning materials that support learners and we are re-deploying our community-based staff to make contact with and support vulnerable learners over the phone.

If you are isolated, either alone or with children, or you care for, support or know someone who is, please follow us on social media and keep checking our website to get updates over the next few weeks and join in (or help someone else to) with this fun and interactive programme.

How to get in contact

Social media – please follow us on social media to keep up to date with all messages, the development of our online programmes and how to access them. You can also send messages to us on Facebook, however please bear in mind that it may take us longer to reply at this time.
