Ever fancied drawing but not sure where to start? This course is for you! Come along and learn drawing skills from scratch or build on the skills you already have, experience new techniques and practice your skills all with our expert tutor.
What will I learn?
You will have a chance to experiment with different media, such as pencils and charcoal and get a feel for observational drawing, using perspective and experimenting with a range of mark-making techniques.
About the tutor
Rebecca Mills has a BA (Hons) Graphic Design and has worked as both a Graphic Designer and freelance Illustrator. Her own artwork is created by both handmade and digital methods. Her area of expertise is digital collage, creating handmade textures and manipulating them by digital methods using Photoshop. She teaches a range of drawing, painting and digital art courses.
How will the course be taught?
You will take part in practical activities and learn from tutor demonstrations and presentations. Throughout the course you will be set specific exercises to try, with opportunities to share your work and gain feedback from your tutor.

This course is suitable for beginners or those wishing to improve their existing drawing skills.

What do I need to bring?
Please bring a set of pencils (B, 2B and 4B recommended) and a sketchpad of good quality paper.

We also reserve the right to cancel your course, if necessary, if we are unable to deliver it in an alternative way.
