Support for adult learners

We can help you if you require additional support in order to complete your chosen course. Our aim is to provide encouragement and support and promote independent learning and learner progression.

This support may include:

  • Advice and referrals to a range of specialist agencies that can support you, depending on the nature of your problem
  • Assistive equipment and mobility support
  • Career advice and guidance
  • Dyslexia support
  • Exam access arrangements or concessions
  • Help with coursework and homework
  • Help with learning in and out of class
  • Support with personal issues
  • Tutorial support with a course tutor
  • Welfare support and information
  • Wellbeing

You can access any of the above services in several ways:

  • When completing your online enrolment tick the box to say you would like a member of the Learner Services Team to contact you
  • Talk to your tutor, who can request support on your behalf
  • Contact a member of the Learner Services Team at any time during your course
