Norfolk admission arrangements 2020/21

Norfolk County Council's admission arrangements were determined at the Children’s Services Committee meeting held on 22 January 2019.

The Committee determined the admissions arrangements for Norfolk’s Community and Voluntary Controlled schools and confirmed the admission coordination schemes and timetables for 2020/21.

A summary of changes for 2020/21

  • No changes to Admission Co-ordination and timetables for 2020/21
  • To continue to co-ordinate in-year admission applications for Norfolk schools for 2020/21
  • A change to the priority for Looked After Children, to include children who are adopted from abroad within over-subscription rules for Community and Voluntary Controlled Schools
  • A revised Fair Access Protocol, including consolidation of current Fair Access processes and documentation and to establish Fair Access Panels across Norfolk at both secondary and primary levels.
