This post is Scale Q, currently £93,165 to £105,882 per annum.
Subject to your performance appraisal result, your salary will be reviewed on an annual basis.
Conditions of Service
The general Conditions of Service will be those laid down by the National Joint Council for Local Government Services (Green Book).
The annual leave entitlement for these post is 28 days, rising to 29 days after 5 years’ service and 31 days after 10 years’ service.
You will be automatically enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) on your appointment. The scheme is a valuable benefit to employees as Norfolk County Council also makes a contribution each month, however you may choose to opt out of the scheme should you wish.
The employee contributions for the LGPS is dependent on actual pensionable pay as detailed in the table below.

You will be required to give three months notice of termination of employment.
This post is designated as Politically Restricted in accordance with the Local Government and Housing Act 1989. This means that you will be disqualified from holding political office at local, national and European level and from engaging in activities as defined in the Regulations, unless you apply for and gain and exemption.
