Fun Palaces

Fun Palaces is an annual, free, nationwide celebration of arts and culture. It combines an ongoing campaign for culture at the heart of every community, and an annual weekend of action.

Fun Palaces are ‘pop-up’ activities based on arts, science and culture, put together by local communities for local communities.

The 2017 Fun Palace weekend took place 7-8 October, with a range of activities taking place in our libraries. Highlights included a zombie apocalypse in King's Lynn, an art and science activity at the Millennium Library, shark-themed activities in Hunstanton, reflexology in Gaywood and much more.
