Norfolk's Great Big Read and World Book Night

Norfolk’s Great Big Read 2019 starts on Monday 18 March and finishes on World Book Night, Tuesday 23 April

This year's list of recommended reads includes crime thrillers, film tie-ins (Juliet Naked and War of the Worlds), some of the best new novels written for young people (The hate u give and Turtles all the way down) and even a book set in Norfolk by the popular crime writer Elly Griffiths (The Chalk Pit).

What is Norfolk’s Great Big Read?

Norfolk’s Great Big Read is our annual reading promotion for adults and young people.

A survey by the national Reading Agency found that 76% of adults say that reading improves their life and makes them feel good so we want to get everyone reading and talking about books!
