The Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library is located at the Forum in Norwich.  The Forum is home to several organisations and is a focus for a wide range of learning and cultural activities in the centre of Norwich. It houses learning organisations, cafe, restaurant and takeaway facilities, as well as the state of the art Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library.

2nd Air Division Memorial Library

An exciting screening celebrating International Women's Day. Live from the British Library! Feminist Perspectives on Islamic Sacred Texts Feminist engagement with Islamic sacred texts is rich and diverse. But how do feminist scholars make space for multiple visions of gender equality in Islam? And how does their work filter into communities and mainstream religious spaces? Renowned academics Amina Wadud, Ziba Mir-Hosseini and Suhraiya Jivraj come together to discuss for International Women's Day. Chaired by Latifa Akay of the Inclusive Mosque Initiative. Fresh mint tea and North African Cakes served from 6.30pm by Sahara Cafe and Patisserie. Screening starts at 7pm. Screened on the Ground Floor of the Norfolk & Norwich Millennium Library from the British Library in London, suitable for ages 14+. Tickets are free, but booking is essential. Relax and be carried away with Music at Midday at the Norfolk & Norwich Millennium Library. In honour of St. Patrick's Day, award winning, professional harpist, Xenia Horne will be gracing us with a spectacular, Irish themed performance with a beautiful, full size, white maple harp. For music that will move you, take a break from the hustle and bustle and join us for this free drop-in event. The performance will take place on the ground floor of the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library. This is a drop-in event with no booking necessary.
