NDR Traffic Update No 71 – Four-way lights on Salhouse Road, Rackheath
24 November 2017
Four-way temporary traffic lights will be in use off-peak on the Sole and Heel roundabout, Salhouse Road, Rackheath, next week (from 27 November) to allow electrical supply ducting to be installed.
The signals will be in use from 9am to 4pm from Monday (27 November) for up to five days, although it is hoped to complete the work in three. The ducting is required for the electrical supply to signs at new Salhouse Road/Norwich Northern Distributor Road roundabout.
The use of four-way lights on the Sole & Heel roundabout will inevitably lead to delays. If queues form on Green Lane East, motorists must not stop on the railway level crossing. A traffic management team will be on site to minimise delays and to ensure that the level crossing is kept clear.
