NDR Traffic Update No 74 – Delays warning on B1150 North Walsham Road

19 January 2018

Three-way lights currently in use off-peak at the junction of the B1150 North Walsham Road with Crostwick Lane, Spixworth, will be in round-the-clock use for up to three days from Monday 22 January.

This will affect peak hour traffic from Monday evening (22 January) through to and including Wednesday morning (24 January), although the lights will revert to off-peak as soon as possible.  These signals are then expected to remain in use off-peak until the end of next week (to Friday 26 January), or as soon as they can be safely removed.

This traffic control is to allow works associated with the permanent closure of Rackheath Lane, including changes to the mouth of Crostwick Lane.

Rackheath Lane is being closed to vehicles because journeys between the B1150 and A1151 Wroxham Road can now be made on the A1270 Norwich Northern Distributor Road (NDR).  Once complete, cyclists and pedestrians will continue to have access into Rackheath Lane.

Plumstead Road, which closed on Monday 15 January for realignment to tie-in with the new roundabout and link road to the NDR, will remain closed for a further three weeks, until Monday 12 February.
