Nar Valley Way path closures and temporary route changes
Path closures and temporary route changes
Newton Heath diversion
The Nar Valley Way has been rerouted to avoid Newton Heath. Please use the temporary permissive path signed on the ground. A permanent solution including a route for equestrians and cyclists is being investigated.
Nar Valley Way route has changed permanently between Setchey and Pentney, where it now follows the northern side of the River Nar.
The route has also changed permanently at East and West Lexham, where it now follows a quiet road to the south of the river rather than the road to the north of the river.
Closure for West Acre bridge repairs
Nar Valley Way has been diverted to allow bridge repairs to a footbridge on West Acre Footpath 2 to be carried out. The closure will be in effect until 5 August 2022.
