Oakley Park

Oakley Park is a residential development of 180 homes, located south East of Mulbarton, approximately 10km South of Norwich. 

Currently, there are no bus stops located within the site. The nearest bus stops are located between Birchfield Gardens and Bluebell Road, as well as on Cuckoofield Lane opposite to the Co-operative food store in the village. These bus stops are served by two bus operators: First Bus and Anglian Bus.

The nearest Park and Ride facility is Harford Park & Ride which is located approximately 6km from the site and can be accessed via the Harford Interchange A140/A47. The site has 1,088 car parking spaces, electric vehicle charging points and cycling parking. Konnect Bus service 502 circles between Harford P&R and Sprowston P&R via Norwich city centre offering bus services up to every 15 min.

There are no existing on-road cycle routes within the local area. The majority of roads nearby are subject to a 30mph speed limit and residential roads providing access to the local amenities.

There are two pedestrian/cycle access points to the western side of the development from Oakley Park including the northern access 30m from the Rosery road and the southern access point from the parking bay for the allotments.

From the eastern side, the development can be access via three pedestrian links connecting with existing public right of ways.  Joining onto the network of shared use pathways onsite.

No cycle parking is included as part of the development.

There are no train services in the proximity of the development. The closest rail stations are located 10km away from Mulbarton in Wymondham and Norwich.

The Wymondham rail station can be only accessed within 13 min car drive and Norwich rail station can be accessed by bus (number 37) however, it should be noted that due to the location of the origin and destination bus stops, the journey can take up to 45min.

Mulbarton has a good footpath network, which terminates adjacent to the site on the western side of Oakley Park.
