The Poppies

The Poppies is a residential development of over 120 homes, located on the eastern boundary of Harleston approximately 10 miles west of Diss.

Currently, there are no bus stops located within or near the site. The nearest sheltered bus stop is located on Broad Street, 550m from Howard Close. Harleston is served by three services: 80, 83 and 84, operated by Anglian Bus.

The shared use paths within the site link directly into the lit, existing footway along the northern side of Mendham Lane, which then connects to the town centre and from the Howard Close access into the rear of the site.

While there are currently no specific cycle routes within Harleston, there is a signed cycle route which links the town with Diss, Bungay and Beccles.

The nearest railway stations are located in Diss and Beccles. Diss Train Station is located approximately 15km away and provides connections to Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester and London Liverpool Street.

Beccles Train Station is located approximately 24km away and provides connections to Ipswich, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Norwich. The no. 80 bus service provides an hourly connection to both Diss and Beccles railway stations.
