Willow Park

Willow Park is a residential development of over 250 homes, located off the Cawston Road in Aylsham. The site is 1.1km from the town centre and 20km north west of Norwich. 

The closest bus stop is located in Aylsham Town Centre at the Market Place, approximately 1.1km east of the site. From here, further connections to Sherringham and Norwich and Cromer can be made using the 44a/x44 and 18 services.

Many local amenities are within an easy two mile cycling distance of Swans Nest development.

Willow Park has a number of footway connections into the site, linking on to Cawston Road to the north of the bridge where a footway on the south side of the carriageway provides access to the St Michael’s Hospital site and the Marriott’s Way.

This existing route has been enhanced to include shared use footway/cycleway with a tarmac surface, providing pedestrians and cyclists with access to the town centre, local schools, retail outlets and the new health centre from the site.

No cycle parking is included as part of the development.

There are no train services in the proximity of the development. The closest railway stations where there are commuter services is North Walsham, approximately 11km east of Aylsham and served by bus route 18, and Wroxham, approximately 16km south-east of Aylsham and served by bus route 291.

Both North Walsham and Wroxham are on the Sherringham to Norwich (bittern) line, which runs an hourly service from early morning to late evening. Services from North Walsham to Sherringham and Norwich take approximately 30 minutes in both directions. From Wroxham journey times are 10-15 minutes shorter to Norwich and consequently longer to Sherringham.
