Works have been completed to upgrade and improve the waiting facilities and general surroundings at Market Gates Bus Interchange, including:
- New larger bus shelters
- Replacement of pedestrian railings
- Additional cycle parking
- Cladding on the concrete pillars and new information boards
- Improvements to lighting
- Retention of electronic passenger information screens
- Additional wayfinding signage
Why
To provide a more attractive and user-friendly bus interchange, creating a better first impression to those coming into the town by bus.
