Earlham Road cycle safety schemes

Earlham Fiveways: from Monday 3 June 2019

Earlham Road green pedalway: from Tuesday 25 June 2019

About the works

Earlham Road is set to see two projects that are designed to improve safety for cyclists, following another successful funding bid to the Department for Transport.

Norwich was awarded a further £1.7m from the Cycle City Ambition grant fund, which has already provided nearly £10m of investment in the Norwich cycle network along the pink, blue and yellow pedalways.

One of the schemes concentrates on changes around Earlham Fiveways roundabout while the other includes a series of measures along the green pedalway, between the outer ring road roundabout and the junction with Heigham Road.

Please visit the following pages for background and previous consultation information about each scheme.
