If you purchased a season ticket or topped up your sQuid Travel Purse for an existing card online before 9pm then it will be available for use on the bus after 6am the following day.
If your balance has not cleared in time and you do not have adequate value on your card to travel, then you will not be able to use your prepaid ticket or sQuid travel purse for that journey.
If you do not have enough money on your holdall smartcard for your ticket then you will be asked to pay the correct cash fare as holdall smartcards cannot be used for part payment.
You can avoid running out of money for pay-as-you-go travel in your sQuid Travel Purse by adding 'Automatic Top-Up' to your account. This will automatically add £20 to your card when the amount on your card falls below £8.
