On the day of the course
Court diversion schemes are delivered by fleet trained driver trainers who provide helpful advice and encouragement to all participants of all ages and experience.
There are no tests as the course is designed to be educational, increasing your road safety and awareness. You will not be asked individual questions, but you will be expected to show willing participation in the course.
You need to bring your driving license and if you do not have a photograph on your driving licence some form of photo ID.
It is your responsibility to ensure you arrive on time for your course. We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before the course start time as you will not be allowed entry if you are late.
All course venues offer free car parking.
If you have special requirements (such as translation) you are able to bring a friend or family member to assist you, but you will need to notify us of this in advance.
Tea, coffee, water and toilet breaks will be provided during the course. No hot food is allowed during the course, but you can bring sweets and snacks for the breaks.
We ask that you switch mobile phones off during the course, but you are free to check these during breaks.
