We sell compost at all our recycling centres, for £3.50 a bag. The bags are hand-filled to approximately 40 litres.

Assistance dogs are permitted at all our sites.

Card payment only at this site, no payments can be made using cash from April 2017. This applies to the purchase of compost or garden waste bags, disposal charge for tyres and DIY waste disposed of through the Pay As You Throw service.

Using our recycling centre

Our recycling centres are organised using separate containers for different materials, eg bins for cardboard, scrap metal, timber and garden waste. Our staff will help you find the right place to put your waste.

To speed things up when you get to the recycling centre, it helps if you sort your recycling before your visit. So you may want to put things like cardboard, scrap metal and timber etc into separate bags.  You can download a site map of this recycling centre which will help you find the bins for each type of waste.

Our staff can assist with lifting where possible but it helps if you divide loads into manageable bags.

We have no restrictions or permit systems in place for vans or trailers at Norfolk's Recycling Centres. Site staff may ask where the waste has come from if you are bringing large quantities to ensure it is household waste.

For safety, please keep your children in your vehicle while you are at the recycling centre.
