Training

The Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB) team regularly provides training packages to professionals working with children or young people. Access the training via the Norfolk Safeguarding Children Partnership learning hub. You can request potential bespoke packages by emailing hsbproject@norfolk.gov.uk. The team currently provides the following training packages.

All professionals must complete the 'Identifying Inappropriate & Harmful Sexual Behaviour in Children & Young People' course as a foundation before booking on further training.

  • Working with Children & Young People who have displayed intrafamilial Harmful Sexual Behaviour (Half Day Training)
  • Harmful Sexual Behaviour in a Children & Young People with a Learning Disability (LD) (Half Day Training)
  • Understanding Harmful Sexual Behaviour in the context of Trauma in Children and Young People (Half Day Training)
  • Considering Neurodivergence when working with Harmful Sexual Behaviour in Children & Young People (Half Day Training)
