I Walked Away and White Ribbon campaign
Domestic abuse can take many forms – it can be emotional, psychological, physical, sexual or financial abuse, and can affect anyone, regardless of age or gender.
We want to show you How to Get Help and to encourage support for our #IWalkedAway campaign on Twitter.
We are also supporting the national campaign 16 Days of Action Against Domestic Violence which encourages companies to help employees who endure domestic violence, train people who witness it, and protect staff.
This also coincides with White Ribbon Day (November 25) an international day against violence against women.
Our Domestic Abuse Change Coordinators are working across Norfolk training people who work in a range of professions who work face-to-face with the public to become ‘Champions’ so that they can recognise symptoms and take action to improve the safety of people enduring abuse.
