Data Protection Officer (DPO)

GDPR introduced a duty for local authorities to appoint a data protection officer (DPO).

The DPO's tasks cover all personal data processing activities and act as a contact point for data subjects and the Information Commissioner's Office (the supervisory authority).

If you have any questions about our privacy notices or how we handle your personal information, you can write to the DPO:

  • By letter to the DPO, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich NR1 2DH
  • By email to dpo@norfolk.gov.uk
