Looked After Children and Care Leavers Strategy
This document sets out how we will fulfil our role as a corporate parent with Children First, by providing:
- Good quality care
- Effective parenting
- Support to children and young people in our care, and leaving our care
We will ensure that we work with children and their families to help them develop and sustain safe, happy and successful lives. We will achieve this by working with our partners and will involve children and young people and their families in the decisions being made about them. We work under the scrutiny and governance of the Corporate Parenting Executive Group.
