Take part in Norfolk Youth Parliament

You can get involved with Norfolk Youth Parliament by:

  • Joining the Norfolk Youth Parliament forum
  • Becoming an elected Youth Parliament Member
  • Taking part in Norfolk Youth Parliament actions
  • Voting in the Youth Parliament Member elections and Make Your Mark ballot.

Join the Norfolk Youth Parliament forum

The Norfolk Youth Parliament forum meets at least once a month, and anyone aged 11-18 years old can join.

As a member, you'll get the opportunity to:

  • Meet with other young people from Norfolk
  • Discuss the big issues young people are facing right now
  • Provide support for Youth Parliament Members
  • Take part in campaigns to tackle issues facing young people
  • Attend regional and national events where you'll meet young people from across the UK

It's free to join the forum. We will provide support with things like transport to make sure you can attend meetings and events.

Become a Youth Parliament Member

As a Youth Parliament Member (YPM), you represent the issues for young people in your area of Norfolk. You'll also be part of the UK Youth Parliament (UKYP)

Take part in Norfolk Youth Parliament actions

You can support Norfolk Youth Parliament by taking part in actions and doing things like:

  • Writing to your MP
  • Taking part in a survey
  • Attending online events on different campaign subjects
