Rose Lane

This project delivered a number of pedestrian, cycling and landscape improvements as part of the wider Prince of Wales Road/Rose Lane improvement scheme.

Works included:

• Installing a cycle track on Cattle Market Street
• Removing the Rose Lane bus lane and keeping two lanes for buses and general traffic
• Providing wider pavements and an off-carriageway cycle track on Rose Lane
• Landscaping and provision of loading bays on Rose Lane
• Improving pedestrian and cycle crossings
