Fullers Hill Roundabout

About

Creating an extra lane on the roundabout by decreasing the size of the central island. An additional right-hand turn lane will also be put in on the North Quay approach.

When

From early 2018 for around 14 weeks.

Why

To increase the capacity of the roundabout and reduce congestion in general and particularly from the North Quay approach where often queues are particularly bad due to the volume of traffic wanting to get onto the A47. Now it's completed, people can expect fewer delays in the area and shorter, more reliable journey times.
