Our libraries now offer so much more than just books. Find out about how to join the library and what you can borrow (or in other languages), or if you’re interested in reading and writing reviews on the latest book releases, go to our book review blog. If you need the help of a librarian with information you can even use our new live webchat on the right of this screen.
Looking for the Norfolk Online Reference Library? It has been renamed Information Service - Find it. To access it, please click on Information service on the left hand menu.

E-books can now be read on Kindle Fire e-readers.
A version of the Overdrive Media Console app for Android has just been released, which is compatible with the Kindle Fire device. This means that e-books borrowed from the Norfolk Digital Library can now be read on the latest model of the Kindle Fire.
This app can be downloaded from the Overdrive website. You will also need to authorise the Kindle Fire with an Adobe ID. Unfortunately, earlier Kindle devices are still not compatible.
