Angel Road/Waterloo Road

July to September 2018

Carriageway resurfacing of the southern section of Waterloo Road, between its junction with Magpie Road and its junction with Angel Road.
Construction of seven new cycle-friendly road humps on Waterloo Road.
Construction of five new cycle-friendly road humps on Angel Road (four will replace existing speed cushions).
Resurfacing sections of footway on Waterloo Road.
Providing a new time-limited parking bay on Waterloo Road near the convenience store.
Resurfacing western section of Shipstone Road cycle path.
Adding a short section of double yellow lines opposite the Rosebery Road junction.

Repair worn out carriageway.
Slow vehicle speeds and improve safety for all road users.
Improve the pedalway routes for cyclists on Shipstone Road, Angel Road and Waterloo Road.
Allow safer access for cyclists entering and exiting Rosebery Road.
Provide some short-stay parking near the convenience store.
Address flooding issues.
