Your Norfolk Advice Network

Your Norfolk Advice Network is a free, independent information and advice service, providing easy and quick access to the services you need. The service is open to all adults in Norfolk, including family members, carers, and professionals seeking information, advice and support.

Professionals can also use this number to discuss individuals they support and receive guidance on services they can refer them to.

The service will:

  • Answer questions and offer independent advice on a range of issues, such as access to benefits, dealing with financial worries and accessing social care
  • Refer you on to organisations or charities that can help you with your concerns

This service is led by Age UK Norfolk who will be supported by Age UK Norwich, Equal Lives, Norfolk Citizens Advice, DIAL, MAP and the Norfolk Community Law Service.

The service also provides access to over 70 organisations registered on Your Norfolk Advice Network, ensuring that all referrals will be person-centered.

Norfolk Advocacy Partnership

The Norfolk Advocacy Partnership is a free, independent service which can arrange advocacy and representation for anyone who needs more support to have their voice heard.

Professionals can also use this number to discuss individuals they support and receive guidance on services they can refer them to.

The service will:

  • Help you to find out what support is available to you
  • Help you to access these services
  • Arrange advocacy - someone to speak on your behalf if you need them to
  • Offer support for people with immigration concerns or issues, where the English language may be a barrier
