Early childhood and family service (ECFS)

The Early Childhood and Family Service (ECFS), offers support to 0-5-year-olds and their families in Norfolk. We have commissioned Action for Children to deliver the service.

How and where you get support, depends on what you need.

Everyone will be able to:

Activities and things to do

If you want to take your child to play activities and meet other parents:

If you need extra help or someone to talk to:

Sometimes families need a little extra help or support.

Our ECFS teams are trained to support families. We have experience in working with families in their homes or in groups in your community.

  • We can come and visit you at home - or somewhere else where you feel comfortable
  • You can join us at a group session, where a member of the ECFS team can help you
  • You can book and come along to our courses for parents. For example, we can support parents in a range of areas, including parenting 0-5s, improving your mental health and reducing harm to children
  • We can put you in touch with other people who can help, such as our early help and family support service
